This short coat takes over 15+ hours to create, from selecting the perfect vintage blanket, washing and mending to tailoring it into a wearable masterpiece.

Made to Last

To preserve the beauty of your jacket, dry clean or gently hand wash at a maximum of 20°C. Iron on low heat. Dry clean or gently hand wash at 20°C.

Techniques

  • Precision Cutting: Maximizes the blanket's patterns, textures, and details(trims or special characteristics).

  • Working with original Trims: When possible, we incorporate the original trims of the blankets into the design. While we do our best to avoid signs of wear or flaws, these elements are sometimes an inseparable part of the blanket’s story. If you're not familiar with the charm and imperfections of vintage textiles, this collection may not be the best fit for you.

  • Hand Finishing: Pockets, buttons and button holes or loops, and trims are all meticulously crafted.

  • Unique Patterns: Each blanket coat has its own design, so you'll see slight variations in length or pockets sizes belts and collars across coats of the same size

We want you to love your Fitol Collection piece. While returns are accepted within 5 working days of delivery, we also offer exchanges for another design of similar value (±10%) or a made-to-order piece crafted from our available materials.

Made-to-order pieces will follow our production schedule and be ready within 2–4 weeks, depending on availability. Please note that all shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

The Unique Story Behind Your Coat:

This stunning two-sided pink blanket, made in France (3 Suisses), found its way to our studio on October 9, 2024, from Ms. Claudia's cozy home in the charming city of Nancy. Fun fact: Nancy is not just known for its beauty as the little Paris but also for being the birthplace of macarons, created by the des Sœurs Macarons sisters. Perhaps the name Macarons en Rouge fits the spirit of this jacket?

After a careful wash, the transformation began between October 19–21, 2024, and on October 25, the blanket evolved into this one-of-a-kind jacket. Final touches, including the attachment of vintage buttons, were completed by November 2, 2024, with a photoshoot capturing its elegance and flow.

Now, this jacket carries over 20 years of warmth and creativity. Designed and meticulously crafted by Katerina, who hand-mended, cut, and styled the piece, its trims were thoughtfully incorporated by Yasar in our partner atelier. Katerina personally hand-sewed the buttons, ensuring every detail was finished with precision and care.

This jacket is more than just clothing—it’s a wearable piece of art, blending originality, warmth, and timeless craftsmanship. Built to last and designed to stand out, it’s meant to be cherished and, perhaps one day, passed on as a true treasure.
