The Story

A once-forgotten 100% cotton duvet cover finds its second life, reimagined into this two-piece set. The soft structure of the fabric offers a natural drape, allowing the body to move with ease while maintaining an effortless silhouette.

The deep brown base is punctuated by warm terracotta panels that are carefully placed to create a sense of balance and subtle contrast. The ornamental motif, originally part of the textile, now takes centre stage, subtly referencing the hand-painted details of Mediterranean ceramics or Baroque art.

The shirt features a relaxed, slightly oversized cut with cropped ¾ sleeves and small tailored details, such as the collar, while the slightly barrel-style pants carry the story forward with the continuation of the patterned panel along one leg.

Every irregularity in the fabric is a silent mark of its past life, making each piece truly one of one.

The M version pant features:

  • Slightly barrel cropped cut - and can be tailored to your desired length. Send us an email, or make it with your local tailor

  • High or Mid waist design according to your personal preference - or your shoes!

  • Half-elastic waistband (mostly on the back and part of the front), with a drawstring made from the same duvet for easy waist adjustment

  • The pleats in the front prevent a bulky front

  • Two large back patch pockets and two deep side seam pockets , we love generous pockets!

  • 2 side panels (different on each side) WITH extra double fabric added here to create the structured barrel shape, a detail you will feel when you try them on

  • The seams are clean inside with topstitching

  • 100% vintage soft cotton as we love our bedding to be !

  • Hem can be adjusted for a slightly shorter fit (up to 2 cm)=== not extendable for longer lengths

Important note: How to Select Your Pants Size:

Because the pants have an elastic waist with no front closure, we recommend using your hip measurement to select the best fit.

👉 To ensure comfort and proper drape:

Your hips should be equal to or up to 2-3 cm smaller than the fully stretched waist measurement of the pants.

For example:

• If the stretched waist of the pants is 100 cm → ideal for hips up to 98 cm.

• If the stretched waist of the pants is 92 cm → ideal for hips up to 90 cm.

This allows for comfortable movement without pulling across the hips.

A little backstory

This set started out as a soft, beautiful duvet cover that we handpicked at a vintage flea market here in Amsterdam a few months ago.

This spring, we transformed it into an easy, breathable set for spring and summer that you can wear every day with your favorite shoes, sandals, or even ballerinas. It's easy to wear separately or as a set! We spent enough time making it easy to wear together!

We love how soft it is against the skin and how it carries something from the past into the present.

About the Making

Each pair of pants or shirt in the From Table to Treasure collection takes between 5.5 and 8.5 hours to complete. It takes almost twice as long to make a complete set.

• 1 to 2 hours go into gentle washing, on-spot cleaning, or mending as needed.

• 2.5 to 4 hours are spent cutting and carefully placing each element to highlight the original details.

• 1.7 to 2.2 hours for machine sewing and seam finishing, attached elastic and ties .

Where and How It’s Made

Each piece is made either in our own studio or together with our trusted partner family atelier, just a short bike ride away, right here in Amsterdam. Nothing is outsourced. It’s just us, our hands, and a deep respect for the materials we work with.

A Note on Vintage Textiles

All textiles are pre-washed before we begin any transformation process. Because we work with pre-loved vintage fabrics, minor imperfections may be present — part of the story and character of each piece.

Please note: colors may vary slightly from what you see on screen due to natural lighting and different screens. We do our best to show the true feel of the garment. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

  • Reworked vintage pieces are final sale.

    Made to Order

    You can pre-order your own one-of-a-kind shirt or top, made from carefully selected vintage or pre-loved textiles.

    If you love the design, but the piece is sold out, we can create a custom version just for you. While we don’t work with the exact same fabric twice, we can find something beautiful together that suits your style.

    Please allow 1–2 weeks for production, and 2–4 weeks for shipping.
