Our White Gaura Shirt S – From Table to Wardrobe
This breezy summer shirt began its life as a vintage French tablecloth, made from 100% pure cotton in a soft off-white tone, adorned with turquoise green and red floral motifs. The flowers reminded me of Gaura blossoms soft but wild.
We kept as much of the original pattern as possible and transformed it into a relaxed shirt with a flattering shape, featuring:
Mother-of-pearl buttons (5 + 1 spare inside)
French seams throughout for a clean and durable finish
A beautiful collar and curved hem — shorter at the front, longer in the back
One front pocket
Fine topstitch detailing
This is a one-off piece, it exists only once.
Made slowly in Amsterdam by Kat, Yasar, Susan and Memo.

Designed as a small size — it fits best on sizes XS to small M, depending on your desired fit.
Model is 170 cm tall with bust 86 cm, waist 77 cm, hips 95 cm. She wears a size S.
Please note:
Bust measurement (pit to pit) is 56 cm flat, which equals 112 cm total.
For a comfortable fit, we recommend this piece for bust sizes up to 90–92 cm — to leave room for movement and comfort.
All measurements taken flat (cm). Multiply by 2 for full circumference:

A little backstory
This shirt started its journey as a soft, beautifully woven tablecloth made in France. It came into our collection two summers ago, and we held onto it, waiting for the right moment and idea.
This Spring, it felt right to finally give it a second life. We transformed it into an easy, breathable shirt you can wear every day, with your favorite pants, skirts, summer shorts, sandals or even ballerinas.
We love the feeling of softness against the skin, the quiet details of the floral pattern, and the way this piece carries something from the past into the now
About the Making
Each shirt / top in the From Table to Treasure collection takes between 5.5 to 8 hours to complete.
• 1 to 2 hours go into gentle washing, on-spot cleaning, or mending as needed.
• 1 to 3 hours are spent cutting and carefully placing each element to highlight the original details.
• 1.5 to 2 hours for machine sewing and seam finishing.
• 1 hour for hand-sewing buttons and final touches.
Where and How It’s Made
Each piece is made either in our own studio or together with our trusted partner family atelier, just a short bike ride away, right here in Amsterdam. Nothing is outsourced. It’s just us, our hands, and a deep respect for the materials we work with.
A Note on Vintage Textiles
All textiles are pre-washed before we begin any transformation process. Because we work with pre-loved vintage fabrics, minor imperfections may be present — part of the story and character of each piece.
Please note: colors may vary slightly from what you see on screen due to natural lighting and different screens. We do our best to show the true feel of the garment. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Reworked vintage pieces are final sale.
