One-Of-a-Kind UPCYCLED Shirt from our bOaN Series Project

Our designs ensure that you will be the sole individual in the world adorned with these unique pieces, a true statement for your wardrobe. Each piece is a beautiful blend of “old” and “new” textiles! We respect the original details of each raw material used, seamlessly incorporating them into the final design. Preserving the brand name of each contemporary raw material when available, and the nostalgia of vintage and antique linens, this garment is a testament to the timeless beauty of vintage craftsmanship and modern creativity.

The Story Behind the Garment

This unique piece started with an vintage Light Blue Grey 00’s Emporio Armani men’s shirt I handpicked at Amsterdam’s vintage market. Through Vinted, Katia from Forli, Italy, shared her childhood memories attached to a napkin set from her kindergarten years in '76 to '79. Inspired by these finds, I reworked the shirt in our new studio in Amsterdam, adding delicate pleats to the left front and transforming the napkin into a charming patchworked pocket. The result is a one-of-a-kind garment, blending timeless vintage elements with modern creativity. The Final Design

This long button-down shirt features a structured collar and an asymmetric-length button placket. Crafted with delicate pleats on the left front, it creates a graceful drape. The cute napkin was transformed into a charming patchworked pocket, complete with tiny hand-sewn pleats to complement the shirt's design. Extra stitches around the napkin highlight the pocket opening. Designed with style and comfort in mind, the shirt features a refined silhouette that is slightly longer than the traditional cut, with beautiful 'cream' buttons and cuff closure details, offering versatility and a touch of modern elegance.

• Maintenance: Dry Cleaning or Machine program in a delicate program or Handwashing max 40° C, iron with protection (low temperature)

• Time-Intensive Process: Crafted over 4+ hours, involving mending, deconstruction, pleats making, sewing , new button holes , hand sewing buttons and the pocket all around.

• Modeled Style: Worn by a model in size Small (170 cm).
