Our Blue little Checks set M/L – From Table to Wardrobe

The Story

This two-piece set is made from a beautiful, 100% cotton, checkered tablecloth that has found a second life. The soft fabric naturally drapes, allowing the body to move with ease from top to bottom while maintaining an effortless silhouette.

The shirt has a relaxed, slightly cropped, and oversized cut with small tailored details, such as French seams underneath and topstitching above. The slightly wide-leg pants are carefully crafted with each piece cut thoughtfully to preserve the placement of the checks.

The design eliminates side seams entirely, using only inseams, so the checks run continuously along the leg as they did in the original tablecloth. This allows the full beauty of the vintage textile to remain visible.

The M/L version pant features:

• Slightly Wide-leg cut - and can be tailored to your desired length. Send us an email, or make it with your local tailor

• Half Elastic waistband mostly on the back and part of front with a drawstring in red. You can easily adjust the waist fit.

• High or Mid waist design according to your personal preference- or your shoes!

• The pleats in the front prevent a bulky front

• One large back patch pockets and one on the side

• No side seams — only inseam construction

• The seams are clean inside with topstitching

• 100% vintage woven cotton

• Hem can be adjusted for shorter / Longer fit. (+- 2,5 to 3 cm)

Care Instructions:

Machine or hand wash max 40°C using a gentle detergent. Iron on low with protection.

Fit & Measurements

Designed as a L— it fits best on sizes (small M) to Large , depending on your desired fit.

The pants size Recommended for hip sizes:

• Up to 104 cm (ideal fit)*

Model is 170 cm tall with bust 86 cm, waist 77 cm, hips 95 cm.

All measurements taken flat (cm). Multiply by 2 for full circumference:

Pants :

• Waist (unstretched): 40 cm → total 80cm

• Waist (fully stretched): 52 cm → total 104cm

• Hip: 60 cm → total 120 cm

• Inseam length: 65 cm

• Total length (waist to hem): 98 cm

• Front Rise: 40 cm

• Back Rise: 46 cm

• 2 pockets: 16 × 17 cm

Important note: How to Select Your Pants Size:

Because the pants have an elastic waist with no front closure, we recommend using your hip measurement to select the best fit.

👉 To ensure comfort and proper drape:

Your hips should be equal to or up to 2-3 cm smaller than the fully stretched waist measurement of the pants.

For example:

• If the stretched waist of the pants is 100 cm → ideal for hips up to 98 cm.

• If the stretched waist of the pants is 92 cm → ideal for hips up to 90 cm.

This allows for comfortable movement without pulling across the hips.
