Each piece is a beautiful blend of “old” and “new” textiles! We respect the original details of each raw material used, seamlessly incorporating them into the final design. Preserving the brand name of each contemporary raw material when available, and the nostalgia of vintage and antique linens, this garment is a testament to the timeless beauty of vintage craftsmanship and modern creativity.
The Story Behind the Garment
This unique piece began its journey with a pink earthy shades Tommy Hilfiger men’s shirt from the 00’s, handpicked at Amsterdam’s Monday vintage market in the beautiful Jordaan area (found in 2019/2020). The cute 80’s tablecloth with its napkin set in pink, gray, and brown shades came from France, sourced from Nathalie's charming Etsy shop that gives a second chance to her cherished objects.
Reworked in our new Amsterdam studio, these elements have been transformed into a striking garment.
The shirt and fabric were creatively combined to make a statement collar with handmade tiny ruffles, using 5 to 6 meters of stripes made from every available piece of the shirt. The abstract form and texture of the ruffles add a distinctive touch, handcrafted using traditional ruffle-making techniques. Half of the ruffles are crafted from the shirt, while the other half are made from the napkin set, resulting in a harmonious blend of textures and colors. You can notice the pretty little embroidered flowers are placed very carefully all round the collar.
The outcome is a one-of-a-kind garment that blends timeless vintage elements with modern creativity.

The Final Design
This cropped button-down shirt has an integrated collar with two small ties to hold it in place. Delicately pleated, the ruffles elegantly embellish the edges of the collar, adding a distinctive and sophisticated touch. I fell in love with it back in April 2023, particularly charmed by the cute embroidered little flowers, and now the time came to work on this!
The shirt and the napkin set were creatively combined to make a statement collar with handmade tiny ruffles, using 9 meters of stripes made from every available piece of the shirt. The abstract form and texture of the ruffles add a distinctive touch, handcrafted using traditional ruffle-making techniques. Half of the ruffles are crafted from the shirt, while the other half are made from the vintage material, resulting in a harmonious blend of textures and colors. The pretty little embroidered flowers are placed very carefully all around the collar, adding an extra layer of charm.
The outcome is a one-of-a-kind garment that blends timeless vintage elements with modern creativity.

Crafted and made by Katerina, who mended, and hand washed the designs, deconstructed, and cut the material.
